Tommy Lee Sparta travel ban lifted - free to travel again

Leroy Russell, Tommy Lee Sparta government name, and his four co-accused appeared before the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday to answer charges of lottery scam.

The “Uncle Demon” deejay is currently out on a $400,000 bail and has maintained his innocence.

Tommy Lee was arrested on February 3, 2014 and charged with breaches of the Jamaican Law Reform (Fraudulent Transaction) (Special Provisions) Act, 2013.. A judge also ordered him to turn over his travel documents and issued a travel ban on him.

But yesterday a judge eased those travel restrictions until September 1, 2014, allowing the deejay to perform at shows overseas.
